Our Ski Safaris are the ideal ski trip for anyone wanting a week of great alpine ski touring and off-piste adventure but
without 6 consecutive days of lung-busting, 5 hour skins and nights in stuffy, noisy, dormitories! You still get to enjoy
fantastic skiing, awesome scenery and great camaraderie but toned down a notch or two!
To enjoy our ski safaris you need to be an accomplished alpine off-piste skier who can ski ungroomed terrain in all snow
conditions. The skiing safaris are offered at different levels of ski touring ability from introductory – no previous ski touring
experience required – through to advanced where previous touring experience is essential. Each ski safari is 6 consecutive days of
6-7 hours of skiing and daily climbs may be 500-1000 vertical metres depending on the trip. At all levels ski touring is an
endurance sport and all participants must have good fitness that comes from regular aerobic exercise.
Courchevel-Chamonix Safari (Introductory)

A classic ski journey passing through 7 of the most famous ski areas of the Western Alps. Beginning in Courchevel the route
goes through the 3 valleys, La Plagne, Les Arc, La Rosiere, La Thuile, Courmayeur, Helbronner (Monte Bianco and the Italian
valley Blanche) before finishing in Chamonix.

Our Haute Route safari is a mellow version of the classic high level alpine traverse between Chamonix and Zermatt! Ideal for
everyone who wants to enjoy great backcountry skiing and easy touring rather than the high-octane challenge of the Haute Route
itself. The route makes it way through the Mont Blanc massif and Swiss Valais, some of the highest and most spectacular regions
of the Alps.
