The Bernina Alps are a range of mountains in eastern Switzerland on the Swiss-Italian border, it is part of the Central Eastern Alps. The highest peak in the range is Piz Bernina (4,049 m), which is the most easterly four thousand-metre peak in the Alps.
The range is heavily glaciated.

The main town in the area is St Moritz www.stmoritz.ch.
