Sulden is a ski resort is a mountain village in the South Tyrol, northern Italy. It is known in German as 'Solda', and should not be confused with the Austrian ski area of Sölden.
Sulden is the main resort in the 'Ortler Skiarena' and is located at an altitude of 1,900m above sea level.

There is no train service to Sulden - the closest stations are in Landeck/Zams or in Spondinig - and thus travelling by public transport also requires a bus journey (or, on occasion, several bus journeys). For example, when travelling from Innsbruck to Sulden you have to take the train to Landeck (journey time about 2 hours 20 minutes) and then 4 bus journeys from Landeck to Nauder, Nauder to Mals (aka Malles), Mals to Gomagoi and finally from Gomagoi to Sulden. The total journey time is therefore 5 hours in total.
